Stencil - cut out the templates to make stencils. Use a good
quality fabric paint,
follow
manufacturer's recommendations for setting.
Fabric panels - can make a very unique and special door
Skylight - use clear vinyl in the roof under a couple of the shingles.
Clear windows - cut transparent vinyl for the windows, use long stitch to hold
Shutters - use pleats to form the shutter slats, trim with fabric to
finish edge and
form
the framing, top stitch to foundation fabric
Doors - may also be sewn to open from the side, (don't sew top to
wall) add foam core
to provide shape
(remove before washing) remember to add the doorknob!

Yo-Yo Flowers - rag leaves, painted trees make wonderful accents to the landscaping
Paneled door - add batting between door fabric and machine quilt a pattern into door
Mailbox - add a 'pocket' mailbox beside the front door
Door bell - add a button type electronic music box in a pocket beside the door
Costs - to save a little in fabric use an inexpensive backing for
the shingles,
the remnants
table and sales are a good source for the smaller pieces
