This plan makes a unique shower gift or a wonderful surprise for a special child's birthday or holiday present.  It also make a great group project for fund raisers, raffles, and the classroom or preschool.

Children may be recruited to help by 'designing' the shingles with fabric markers or paints.  The house can be sewn to reflect a significant theme.   Almost any fabric may be appliqued for a completely custom design, ABC's for a schoolhouse, animals for a farm...  You might wish to personalize the house with the child's name.

Through the years "Grandma's House" will offer  many fond memories and happy times
for its residents.  Our house is designed to be portable, storable and machine washable. 
It was planned with children in mind, and to hold up for many years to come.
